a) I come from a pastoral family, since I was little I was part of the church and it was through my parents that I learned to love God and his work. I felt the call of God through Scripture and my devotional life and went to prepare theologically in the seminary of my church. After this I was blessed to be serving as pastor in two churches for four years and it has been a very joyful experience because I have the opportunity to see up close the transformation that God works in the hearts of those who sincerely seek him.

b) Since I finished my degree in theology, I had the desire to continue preparing, however in these four years of pastoral ministry I dedicated myself to serving in the churches assigned to me and I did not have the opportunity to continue my preparation formally, but God knew it was my wish. Some months ago, I received the news of the opportunity that is offered to us so we can study this Master’s in Biblical Interpretation and I was filled with joy. Until today it has been a very enriching journey, I have learned a lot and I am excited to think how much we will learn to share with others the faith that we preach.

c) I would like to extend my gratitude to God for his lives, because through his generosity we have the opportunity to prepare and seek to grow to share and train others in ministry as well. The Word of God is wonderful and Jesus is the answer to our corrupted humanity, so all Biblical preparation is an investment in the Kingdom of God; that in the same way that we acquire tools, we can share them with others and be firm Christians who promote the growth that God gives us.

I ask you to please pray for my life and for the church I serve (Gethsemane Methodist Church), that God continue to guide us in personal and social holiness to preach the gospel that our country so badly needs.

a) 저는 어렸을 때부터 목회자 가정에서 왔습니다. 저는 교회의 일원이었고 부모님을 통해 하나님과 그분의 일을 사랑하는 법을 배웠습니다. 저는 성경과 신앙 생활을 통해 하나님의 부르심을 느꼈고 교회 신학교에서 신학 적으로 준비하러갔습니다. 그 후 저는 4 년 동안 두 교회에서 목사로 봉사 할 수있는 축복을 받았으며, 진심으로 그를 찾는 사람들의 마음 속에 하나님 께서 역사하시는 변화를 가까이서 볼 수있는 기회가있어서 매우 즐거운 경험이었습니다.

b) 신학 학위를 마친 이후로 계속 준비하고 싶었지만,이 4 년간의 목회 사역에서 나는 나에게 할당 된 교회에서 봉사하는 데 헌신했고 공식적으로 준비를 계속할 기회가 없었습니다. 그러나 하나님은 그것이 나의 소원임을 아 셨습니다. 몇 달 전에 저는 성경 해석에서이 석사 학위를 공부할 기회가 있다는 소식을 듣고 기쁨으로 가득 차있었습니다. 오늘까지 그것은 매우 풍요로운 여정이었습니다. 저는 많은 것을 배웠고 우리가 전파하는 신앙을 다른 사람들과 나누는 법을 얼마나 배울 것인지 생각하게되어 기쁩니다.

c) 그들의 관대함을 통해 우리는 사역에서 다른 사람들을 나누고 훈련시키기 위해 준비하고 성장할 기회가 있기 때문에 그들의 삶에 대해 하나님 께 감사를 전하고 싶습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 놀랍고 예수님은 우리의 타락한 인류에 대한 답입니다. 따라서 모든 성경적 준비는 하나님의 왕국에 대한 투자입니다. 우리가 도구를 얻는 것과 같은 방법으로 다른 사람들과 도구를 공유하고 하나님 께서 우리에게 주시는 성장을 촉진하는 확고한 기독교인이 될 수 있습니다.

제 삶과 제가 섬기는 교회 (게세 마네 감리 교회)를 위해 기도해주십시오. 하나님 께서 우리 나라가 절실하게 필요로하는 복음을 전파하기 위해 개인적, 사회적 거룩함으로 우리를 계속 인도 해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

• Provengo de una familia pastoral, desde pequeño formé parte de la iglesia y fue a través de mis padres que aprendía a amar a Dios y su obra. Sentí el llamado de Dios a través de la Escritura y mi vida devocional y entré a prepararme teológicamente en el seminario de mi iglesia. Después de esto tuve la bendición de estar sirviendo como pastor en dos iglesias a lo largo de cuatro años y ha sido una experiencia muy alegre porque tengo la oportunidad de ver de cerca la transformación que obra Dios en el corazón de aquellos que le buscan sinceramente.
• Desde que terminé mi licenciatura en teología tenía el deseo de seguirme preparando, sin embargo en estos cuatro años de ministerio pastoral me dediqué a serviré en las iglesias que me asignaban y no tuve oportunidad de continuar mi preparación formalmente, pero Dios sabía que era mi deseo. Hace algunos meses recibí la noticia de la oportunidad que nos es ofrecida de estudiar esta Maestría en interpretación bíblica y me llené de gozo. Hasta el día de hoy ha sido un viaje muy enriquecedor, he aprendido mucho y me entusiasma pensar lo mucho que aprenderemos para compartir con otros la fe que predicamos.
• Quisiera extender mi gratitud a Dios por sus vidas, porque a través de su generosidad tenemos la oportunidad de prepararnos y buscar crecer para compartir y capacitar también a otros en el ministerio. La Palabra de Dios es maravillosa y Jesús es la respuesta a nuestra humanidad corrompida, así que toda preparación Bíblica es una inversión en el Reino de Dios; que de la misma manera que adquirimos herramientas, podamos compartirlas con otros y ser cristianos firmes que promueven el crecimiento que Dios nos da.

Les pido que por favor oren por mi vida y por la iglesia en la que sirvo (Iglesia Metodista Getsemaní), que Dios siga guiándonos en santidad personal y social para predicar el evangelio que tanto necesita nuestro país.
