My name is Nazaret Antolín, I am 30 years old, I am from Texhuacan, Veracruz. I am studying the 5th Semester of the Master of Arts program with an Emphasis in Biblical Interpretation.

I learned about the gospel as a student and through students. When I was 15 years old, my best friend in high school accompanied me to read the Bible and share his faith with me. When I entered the university I joined the Student Fellowship, a student movement that belongs to IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students). It was there that I was able to learn to study the Bible under some Bible study methods that allowed me to deepen and strengthen my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was able to be discipled and trained to lead my own Bible study and invite my fellow college students to know the gospel.

One of the moments that were a watershed in my Christian walk was the missionary convention organized by Student Fellowship every 4 years, VIVE. It was there that when listening to an exposition of Mark 10 by Tom Lin, (Current National Director of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship) I realized God’s invitation not only to believe in the gospel, but to live the gospel by joining his mission. So I began to pray and become more interested in seeking training and resources to get involved in mission. I ended up turning down a master’s degree in Civil Engineering, to get involved full time in student ministry.

They have been very beautiful years where I have been able to see how the Lord does his work through students who reach other students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The task is not easy, to get to connect with university students, share the gospel with them, train them, train them to reach and direct their own biblical studies with the intention that, upon graduation, they will be mature professionals in the gospel than by being permeated by the gospel. be able to reach out to others wherever they are. Training is an extremely important element in this whole process, and people are required to help train these students.

This program is helping me understand important contextual elements of writing, worldview, culture, language, and so on. Also in the need to know our context and give answers to the questions of our time. This is of utmost importance in my work of training students since I can be not only thinking about replicating materials but also about undertaking a task of study of writing that is faithful and at the same time relevant. I can be aware of the origin of the barriers that exist for the reception of the gospel and with the help of the Holy Spirit propose missionary strategies that encourage students to live the gospel in the university, family and church.

How can you tell, the training task is better when the trainer has access to tools such as the ones that All Nations Seminary has given us and has benefited parachurch movements such as Student Fellowship. I want to express my gratitude to you who faithfully collaborate with your offerings to us, who have believed that you join the work of God through your rations and resources. My teaching ministry could not be possible without the collaboration of you and other brothers who support the ministry. It is an honor for me to communicate to you through this letter that Mexican university students will be benefited by what the Lord has allowed me to learn through this Master’s program. I did not study a Master of Civil Engineering, but for me it is very significant that now it allows me to study the Master of Arts with an Emphasis in Biblical Interpretation.

제 이름은 Nazaret Antolín이고, 저는 30 살이고, Veracruz의 Texhuacan에서 왔습니다. 저는 성경 해석에 중점을 둔 석사 5 학기를 공부하고 있습니다.

저는 학생으로서 그리고 학생들을 통해 복음에 대해 배웠습니다. 제가 15 살이었을 때, 고등학교 때 절친한 친구가 저와 함께 성경을 읽고 그의 믿음을 저와 나누었습니다. 대학에 입학했을 때 저는 IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students)에 속한 학생 운동 인 Student Fellowship에 가입했습니다. 그곳에서 저는 주 예수 그리스도에 대한 신앙을 깊고 강화할 수있는 성경 공부 방법을 통해 성경 공부를 배울 수있었습니다. 나는 내 자신의 성서 연구를 이끌고 동료 대학생들에게 복음을 알도록 권유 할 수있는 훈련과 훈련을받을 수있었습니다.

나의 기독교 산책에서 분수령이 된 순간 중 하나는 4 년마다 Student Fellowship 인 VIVE가 주최하는 선교 대회였습니다. 톰 린 (현 Intervarsity Christian Fellowship의 전국 이사)의 Mark 10에 대한 설명을 들었을 때 저는 복음을 믿고 그의 선교에 동참하여 복음대로 살라는 하나님의 초대를 깨달았습니다. 그래서 저는기도하기 시작했고 선교 사업에 참여할 수있는 훈련과 자원을 구하는 데 더 관심을 갖게되었습니다. 나는 학생 사역에 풀 타임으로 참여하기 위해 토목 공학 석사 학위를 거절했습니다.

그들은 예수 그리스도의 복음으로 다른 학생들에게 다가가는 학생들을 통해 주님 께서 어떻게 그분의 일을 하시는지 볼 수 있었던 매우 아름다운 해였습니다. 대학생들과 연결하고, 복음을 나누고, 훈련시키고, 졸업 할 때 복음에 대한 성숙한 전문가가 될 의도로 자신의 성경 공부에 도달하고 지시하도록 훈련시키는 일은 쉽지 않습니다. 복음에 스며 들어 어디에 있든 다른 사람들에게 다가 갈 수 있습니다. 교육은이 전체 과정에서 매우 중요한 요소이며 사람들은 이러한 학생들을 교육하는 데 도움이 필요합니다.

이 프로그램은 글쓰기, 세계관, 문화, 언어 등의 중요한 맥락 적 요소를 이해하는 데 도움이됩니다. 또한 우리의 맥락을 알고 우리 시대의 질문에 대한 답변을 제공 할 필요가 있습니다. 이것은 자료 복제에 대해 생각할 수있을뿐만 아니라 충실하고 동시에 관련성이있는 글쓰기 공부 과제를 수행 할 수 있기 때문에 학생들을 훈련시키는 제 작업에서 가장 중요합니다. 저는 복음을 받아들이 기 위해 존재하는 장벽의 기원을 알 수 있으며, 성령의 도움으로 학생들이 대학, 가족, 교회에서 복음대로 생활하도록 격려하는 선교 전략을 제안합니다.

Mi nombre es Nazaret Antolín, tengo 30 años, soy de Texhuacan, Veracruz. Me encuentro cursando el 5° Bimestre del programa de Maestría en Artes con Énfasis en Interpretación Bíblica.

Conocí del evangelio en mi etapa de estudiante y a través de estudiantes. A los 15 años mi mejor amigo en preparatoria me acompañaba a leer la Biblia y a compartirme su fe. Cuando ingresé a la universidad me integré a Compañerismo Estudiantil, un movimiento estudiantil que pertenece a IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students). Fue ahí donde pude aprender a estudiar la biblia bajo algunos métodos de estudio bíblico que me permitieron profundizar y afianzar mi fe en el Señor Jesucristo. Pude ser discipulado y capacitado para liderar mi propio estudio bíblico e invitar a mis compañeros de la universidad a conocer el evangelio.

Uno de los momentos que fueron un parteaguas en mi caminar cristiano, fue la convención misionera que organiza Compañerismo Estudiantil cada 4 años, VIVE. Fue ahí que al escuchar una exposición de Marcos 10 por parte de Tom Lin, (Actual director nacional de Intervarsity Christian Fellowship) Me di cuenta de la invitación de Dios de no sólo creer en el evangelio, si no de vivir el evangelio uniéndome a su misión. Así que comencé a orar y a interesarme más en buscar capacitación y recursos para involucrarme en la misión. Terminé rechazando una maestría en Ingeniería Civil, para involucrarme de tiempo completo en el ministerio estudiantil.

Han sido años muy hermosos donde he podido ver como el Señor hace su obra a través de estudiantes que alcanzan a otros estudiantes con el evangelio de Jesucristo. La tarea no es sencilla, llegar a conectar con los universitarios, compartirles el evangelio, capacitarlos, formarlos para alcanzar y dirigir sus propios estudios bíblicos con la intención de que, al egresar, sean profesionistas maduros en el evangelio que al ser permeados por el evangelio sean capaces de alcanzar a otros donde quiera que ellos se encuentren. La formación es un elemento de suma importancia en todo este proceso, y se requiere de personas que ayuden la formación de estos estudiantes.

Este programa me está ayudando a comprender elementos importantes de contexto de la escritura, de la cosmovisión, de la cultura, del lenguaje, etcétera. También en la necesidad de conocer nuestro contexto y dar respuestas a los cuestionamientos de nuestra época. Esto es de suma importancia en mi labor de capacitar a los estudiantes ya que puedo ser no sólo pensar en replicar materiales si no en emprender una tarea de estudio de la escritura que es fiel y a la vez relevante. Puedo ser consciente del origen de las barreras que existen para la recepción del evangelio y con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo plantear estrategias misionales que animen a los estudiantes a vivir el evangelio en la universidad, familia e iglesia.  

Cómo se pueden dar cuenta, la tarea de capacitación es mejor cuando el capacitador tiene acceso a herramientas como las que el Seminario Todas las Naciones nos ha brindado y ha beneficiado a movimientos paraeclesiástico como Compañerismo Estudiantil. Quiero expresar mi gratitud a ustedes que colaboran fielmente con sus ofrendas a nosotros, que han creído que sumarse a la obra de Dios a través de sus raciones y recursos. Mi ministerio de enseñanza no podría ser posible sin la colaboración de ustedes y otros hermanos que sustentan el ministerio. Es un honor para mí comunicarles por medio de esta carta que los universitarios mexicanos serán beneficiados por lo que el Señor me ha permitido a prender a través de este programa de Maestría. No estudié una maestría en Ingeniería Civil, pero para mí es muy significativo que ahora me permita estudiar la Maestría en Artes con Énfasis en Interpretación Bíblica.
