Ulises Barrera

Blessings beloved donor brother. My name is Ulises Barrera, I am from a small city called Chilapa de Álvarez, belonging to the state of Guerrero, in southern Mexico. I have a relationship with a beautiful woman named Jenifer Ayala from my city, it is worth mentioning that my calling is the teaching of the Word, because it is what I am most passionate about. I mean, I’m about to finish the fourth semester at the seminary.

I want him to be well, I do not have the pleasure of meeting him in person, however, I carry him in my prayers and I maintain the conviction that truth and love unite us. I would like to ask you to pray for the following three requests.

I. For my family and the ministry that it exercises. My father is the pastor of a small mission in a town, village or ranch on the outskirts of our city. Every three days we go to preach the Word. It is necessary to mention to me that in the last days there has been a lot of violence in that place, that is why I express it to you.

II. For my courtship at a distance. Every time I travel to the seminary, I say goodbye to her and lately it has been difficult for me due to the different situations of lack of time. I would also like to extend the invitation to you (taking advantage of the occasion), so that you are present at our wedding. It would be special.

III. For the church I am contributing to. It has been very beautiful to see her grow in all aspects. My intention and desire is to serve her especially, but also the whole body of Christ. In various ways, as I have already said, in academic preparation, and in any other possible way.

I would like to mention that being in the All Nations Seminar has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life, since I have had to adapt to changes in many aspects. However, it has also been the most beautiful experience, because I have noticed the mercy of God in every circumstance. I have met very beautiful people, men and women dedicated to the work of the gospel. I have learned from all. I would like more special mentioning the life of our immediate authorities (Dámaris, Abimael, Anita, María de Jesús), in addition to the rector Dr. Gabriela Tijerina and the vice-rectors who are the pastor Isaí Valenzuela and Eduardo González.

They are men and women dedicated to the task assigned to them. I can really see the grace of God in them, and why not say it, also the correction. I am very grateful to God for this place that has been provided with economic blessing from brothers like you. In truth, thank you very much for what God has put in your heart and the love with which you do it. Finally, I want to remind you that I carry it in my prayers now more than ever because of the situation that the whole world is going through, and especially the United States due to the health contingency of the current pandemic; And even if I don’t know him, I hope that one day I will. Bendiciones amado hermano donador. Mi nombre es Ulises Barrera, soy de una pequeña ciudad llamada Chilapa de Álvarez, perteneciente al estado de Guerrero, al sur de México. Sostengo un noviazgo con una hermosa mujer de nombre Jenifer Ayala originaria de mi ciudad, cabe mencionar que mi llamado es la enseñanza de la Palabra, pues es lo que más me apasiona. Quiero decir que estoy a punto de terminar el cuarto semestre en el seminario.

Deseo demasiado que se encuentre bien, no tengo el gusto de conocerle en persona, sin embargo, lo llevo en mis oraciones y mantengo la convicción de que la verdad y el amor nos unen. Me permito pedirle oración por las siguientes tres peticiones.

1. Por mi familia y el ministerio que ejerce. Mi padre es pastor de una pequeña misión en un pueblo, aldea o ranchito en las afueras de nuestra ciudad. Cada tres días nos dirigimos a predicar la Palabra. Me es necesario mencionar que en los últimos días ha habido mucha violencia en aquel lugar, por ello es que se lo expreso.
2. Por mi noviazgo a la distancia. En cada ocasión que viajo para el seminario me despido de ella y últimamente se me ha hecho difícil por las diversas situaciones de falta de tiempo. También me gustaría extenderle la invitación a usted (aprovechando la ocasión), a fin de que esté presente en nuestra boda. Sería especial.  
3. Por la iglesia en la que estoy contribuyendo. Ha sido muy hermoso verla crecer en todos los aspectos. Mi intención y deseo es la de servirle a ella en especial, pero también a todo el cuerpo de Cristo. De multiformes maneras, como ya lo he dicho, en la preparación académica, y de cualquier otra forma posible.

Quisiera mencionar que estar en el Seminario Todas Las Naciones ha sido de las experiencias más retadoras de mi vida, pues he tenido que adaptarme a cambios en muchos aspectos. Sin embargo, también ha sido la experiencia más hermosa, porque he notado la misericordia de Dios en cada circunstancia. He conocido a personas muy hermosas, hombres y mujeres entregados a la labor del evangelio. De todos he aprendido. Quisiera más especial mencionando la vida de nuestras autoridades inmediatas (Dámaris, Abimael, Anita, María de Jesús), además de la rectora Dra. Gabriela Tijerina y los vicerrectores que son el pastor Isaí Valenzuela y Eduardo González.

Son hombres y mujeres entregados a la tarea que se les ha sido asignada. Realmente puedo ver la gracia de Dios en ellos, y por qué no decirlo, también la corrección. Estoy muy agradecido con Dios por este lugar que ha sido abastecido de bendición económica de parte de hermanos como usted. En verdad, muchas gracias por lo que Dios ha puesto en su corazón y el amor con el que lo hacen. Quiero recordarle, por último, que lo llevo en mis oraciones ahora más que nunca por la situación que atraviesa el mundo entero, y en especial Estados Unidos debido a la contingencia sanitaria de la actual pandemia; y aunque no le conozca, tengo la esperanza de que algún día lo haré.
